We’re looking for a Shopify Stack Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience who can build, customize, and scale high-performing Shopify storefronts.
At CEDCOSS, you’ll work at the core of our e-commerce delivery — owning Shopify development end to end, integrating complex systems, and building conversion-focused storefronts.
In this role, you will work across the complete Shopify development lifecycle — from theme customization and app integrations to performance optimization and advanced storefront builds, including headless or React-based implementations where required. You will collaborate closely with design, product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure that every storefront is not only technically sound but also conversion-focused and aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities We’ll Trust You With
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores with a strong focus on performance, responsiveness, and user experience
- Work extensively with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React to deliver advanced front-end customizations
- Integrate third-party Shopify apps and external APIs, and build custom Shopify apps when business requirements demand it
- Implement and support headless or React-based storefronts for advanced or high-performance use cases
- Collaborate closely with design, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless user journeys and consistent execution
- Conduct regular performance analysis and code optimization to improve site speed, stability, and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to themes, apps, APIs, or integrations
- Implement best practices for SEO, accessibility, and performance across all Shopify storefronts
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment planning to maintain development quality and standards
Core Competencies
- 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience (themes, apps, Liquid)
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, and modern front-end practices
- Solid understanding of Shopify APIs, Webhooks, and integration patterns
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on deadlines
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and collaboration skills for distributed teams
- Experience with Shopify Plus (Scripts, Flow, Launchpad)
- Building custom Shopify apps using TypeScript
- Experience with serverless platforms (Vercel, Netlify, AWS Lambda)
- Familiarity with performance and debugging tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Sentry)
- Experience with multi-currency, multi-language, or international storefronts
- Knowledge of GraphQL optimization, caching, and persisted queries
